AJR For those of you who just HAVE to own a full list of all castle sites in England, Scotland and Wales, the best list that I have found on the internet is at http://members.lycos.co.uk/RoystonB/Castles1.htm
I'm not saying this list is complete, but it's the best I've come across.
Does anyone know WHO compiled this list ?

just had a quick look at Flintshire & Wrexham. Re: Flintshire, he hasn't got one of the main castles which is Mold' or 'Yr Wyddgrug'. And his/her districts are well out. Noticed 'Trueman's Mount' is missing as well.
Though 'Gyrn' has me .. unless they mean the site at Llanarmon yn Ial ?
Plus a lot of the spelling is not as it should be.
They have also listed more modern sites in other counties, but fail to mention several in Flintshire, like Halkyn Castle. There are probably several more older sites missing as well. Even Mike Salter hasn't got them.
